Teaching & Assessment

This course will be delivered using a variety of learning and teaching methods, including lectures, seminars, workshops and tutorials, as well as online discussions and activities posted on the University’s virtual learning environment, Moodle. You’ll be expected to attend all scheduled sessions and prepare for these in advance by undertaking relevant research and background reading.

Formative assessment will support your learning, allowing you to reflect on feedback from your tutors and peers. It takes a variety of forms including the submission of samples of work and does not contribute to the final module mark. Summative assessment is designed to test your achievement of the intended learning outcomes of the course and includes a reflective portfolio and oral assessment.
